Bio:
Education: DVM: U of Florida-1985 Diplomate ACVS - 1991 Affiliation: Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists, Houston, TX Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine Adjunct Asst. Professor Dr. Brian Beale is a board-certified surgeon and co-owner with Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, Texas. He joined them in 1992 after completing his residency and serving on the faculty of the University of Florida‘s College of Veterinary Medicine. Brian has a special interest in arthroscopy, minimally-invasive fracture management, medical management of osteoarthritis, and perioperative pain management. Brian has authored many book chapters and scientific articles on these topics. He is a coauthor of the new Small Animal Arthroscopy textbook. Brian is a frequent invited speaker to local, national and international meetings. He is a past-president of the Veterinary Orthopedic Society, past-president of the Gulf Coast Veterinary Education Foundation and active in the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.

A great part of his clinical activity is dedicated to examination and treatment of racing Greyhounds.
