    Description:
    Purple suture thread.
    Surgical suture thread wound in a cassette – synthetic (PGA) braided and coated, absorbable.
    Made of PGA – polyglycolic acid polymer.
    Available in 25 m, 35 m, 50 m, and 100 m reels.

    Features:
    High tensile strength during the critical wound healing phase
    Minimal tissue reaction
    Excellent handling and knot security
    Coated surface reduces capillarity and allows gentle tissue penetration
    Retains 70% of original tensile strength at 14 days, and 50% at 21 days
    Fully absorbed within 60–90 days (via hydrolysis)

    Indications:
    General soft tissue approximation and/or ligation
    Muscle tissue closure and suturing
    Fascia, subcutaneous tissue, and hemostatic ligatures
    Ophthalmic procedures
